A LAST LOOK AT THE OBAMA FAMILY IN THE WHITE HOUSE

There has been a lot of buzz about the pictures Architectural Digest published online and in their December issue featuring the White House interiors designed by Los Angeles designer Michael Smith for the Obama family. From the looks of it, President Obama and his daughters, Malia (left) and Sasha, have made themselves at home as they sit comfortably on a velvet sofa located in the Treaty Room. I love the fact that Sasha has kicked off her shoes and even put her feet up on the sofa! I hope they enjoy their final days in the White House as the place they temporarily call “home”. Be sure to check out the full article about the Obama’s White House posted at Architectural Digest.

I enjoyed the AD article and pictures of the private quarters the Obama’s lived in. Michael Smith did a beautiful job, making the rooms current, yet retaining the dignity of the space.
Nice post as the Obama term winds down.
