This Palm Beach villa is predominately featured in the current issue of Marie Claire Maison Italia magazine so naturally, the text is in Italian. Since I don’t really read much Italian, I dug around trying to find more information about the home to share with you only to learn that the home was previously featured in an earlier issue of Veranda magazine. (I think that was around the time my subscription lapsed?). If you surf the internet long enough you will start seeing many recycled images. Apparently, even magazines do it.
The 1920’s Palm Beach waterfront home was built by local architect John Volk. The home is currently owned by an American diplomat and his designer wife who turned to seaside hues to create a comfortable space for a home with such a grand scale. I like how you can see the influences of the couple’s travel make their way into the home. Images via Marie Claire Maison Italia and Veranda.
It’s lovely.
Wow, that’s beautiful.
