The Pendry Hotel, situated on a prime corner in the Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego, opened its doors early this year with lots of fanfare as a new venture for the Montage Resorts & Hotels brand. The Pendry San Diego is only one of two, and was the first, in the Pendry chain (the other is in Baltimore). Mr. B and I visited the San Diego location over the Fourth of July weekend where we were invited to tour the rooftop pool and enjoyed delicious appetizers at the bar. Impressed with its sophisticated style, Mr. B and I vowed that next time we were in San Diego we’d book a room at The Pendry. The hotel combines modern day luxury and California style, as seen from my pictures captured in July and earlier today.
If you need me, I’ll be at The Pendry over the next few days. But don’t be surprised if the “do not disturb sign” is on display. This holiday weekend is meant to be stress-free and the goal is to refresh, relax, and rejuvenate. I hope you get a chance to do the same!
Things that caught my attention-the vintage car seat niche, the wallpaper, and the delicious looking drink. Enjoy your holiday at the Pendry.
Thank you! See you soon…
We have a wedding to attend in San Diego in February and I was wondering where to stay. You’ve just solved that problem for me. Enjoy your Dan Diego Christmas.
If you are in San Diego and need to stay downtown, I definitely recommend The Pendry. We had a wonderful stay. Enjoy the wedding come February!
What a wonderful way to relax—a beautiful environment! Enjoy.

Karen
Thanks, Karen. Yes, for being a boutique style hotel, it sure does offer a lot and we enjoyed our stay.
