Do you ever feel that searching the internet is like going down a rabbit hole? This morning I was searching for something online…at this point, I don’t even remember what I was looking for! But my search led me to the website of interior designer Isabel Lopez-Quesada, headquartered in Madrid, Spain. Isabel opened her design firm in 1983 at the age of 20 and has been fortunate to have a very successful career that includes residential and corporate clients based around the world. She has quite the flair for marrying traditional decor and details with sleek and contemporary touches. In fact, she is quoted as saying “A house, as a person, must combine tradition and modernity”. I couldn’t agree with her more. Enjoy the post today that highlights some of the beautiful spaces showcased in Isabel’s portfolio.
Such a pretty home. I love some of the unexpected touches. Not sure about the practicality of a basket wrapped bath tub but it looks really great. I agree, its easy to get lost online…often with such wonderful surprises.
