Mr. B and I usually take our longest trip of the year during the Fall, which seems like light-years away. I am experiencing serious vacation withdrawal particularly since it seems that everyone else is on vacation right now. I am getting very antsy.
We do not plan on heading to the Cotswolds any time soon but it won’t stop me from admiring the beautiful interiors of the hotel known as “No 131” located in the small town of Cheltenham. Great hotel design is a wonderful source of design inspiration, plus browsing through pictures of No 131, a Georgian villa turned 11-room hotel might help tide me over until Fall comes….a girl can only hope!
It looks like it has old world charm with modern amenities. I can see myself stepping through their doors and forgetting the hectic world outside. I’d shut myself in with a bottle of good wine, chocolate truffles, and a book. Heaven.
But…only if I could join you!!!!! Perhaps we should book a trip. Lol.
Oh man, that first picture has me needing some old wood filing cabinets. I could see just sinking into that room with some books and never leaving. Thanks for the gorgeous share.
Me too! Aren’t those great. I could definitely put those to good use!
Thanks for your comment!
So nice to learn of this hotel, I’m putting it on my bucket list for my next visit to the Cotswolds. Ironically, my son is there right now, wonder if he knows of it?
So glad you enjoyed today’s post. Lucky guy. Maybe your son could stop in and check it out for Mom!?
I’ve been to Cheltenham, wish I had known about this hotel. Our hotel so many years ago was under renovation and it was a mess. This almost passes as someone’s lovely home. Thanks for sharing, I’ll definitely look into No. 131 for our next trip to the Cotswolds.

Yes, it feels very cozy and inviting, doesn’t it? Sounds like a good excuse to go back and visit!
