One of the things I am really looking forward to doing in San Francisco is visiting the de Young Museum to see the exhibit “Oscar de la Renta: The Retrospective”. And a trip to the museum is on the itinerary for today. The exhibit features over 130 ensembles crafted over 50 years. The exhibition is curated by former editor at large for American Vogue, André Leon Talley and is the first major exhibit of de la Renta’s work, which is taking place 2 years after the designer’s after passing at age 82. He is an icon in the fashion industy; his looks have appeared on the red carpet and he has dressed 4 First Ladies including Betty Ford, Nancy Reagan, Hillary Rodham Clinton and Laura Bush. If you are in San Francisco and want to check out the exhibit for yourself purchase tickets here. The exhibit will be on display from March 12-May 11, 2016. –XOXO, V.
