What do you have planned this evening? This post may be full of glitz and glamour but this New Year’s Eve I will actually be spending a quiet evening alone with Mr. B in San Luis Obispo (“SLO”). After our San Diego trip last weekend we stopped home for a couple of days before heading north to the town that even Oprah has called “America’s happiest city”. And earlier this year it also ranked number 5 on National Geographic’s top 25 list of happiest cities in the U.S. I’m glad to see that several other California towns also made the list.

I do hope you are able to look back on 2017 fondly. I can honestly say that it was a good year for us. I must admit that one of the highlights of my year was planning an Italian vacation with Mr. B and actually making it back after a bit of a hiatus. By the way, I still owe you a post about our Italian adventures. I look forward to sharing that with you soon…it’s hard to condense over 5,000 pictures into a couple of posts so if there is something you are particularly interested in, please drop me a note or leave a comment on this post. I love hearing from readers.

I can’t end this post without thanking you for hanging out with me here on Reviving Charm. I appreciate you stopping by and I hope we can continue to inspire each other in the upcoming new year. I am confident that something beautiful lies ahead…

All the best…

Happy New Years Eve 2017 from Reviving Charm

Pop. Fizz. Clink….Farewell 2016!

Although I’ve posted lots of festive party pictures today, Mr. B and I have decided to stay home together and ring in the new year rather quietly. I had to work throughout the entire holiday season so a peaceful evening just hanging out with Mr. B is something I am looking forward to. Whatever your plans are for this last day of the year, have fun and stay safe. See ya back here in 2017.

When welcoming a New Year, always remember that it’s not always about the party on New Years Eve, the new party dress or the drink in your hand; but the hope you hold in your heart that makes the biggest difference in your future. Today, let us celebrate the end of 2015 and make a toast to the upcoming year. Let every moment of 2016 count!  But for now…..Cheers..20 Adorable, dance-floor approved flats for your wedding day | Wedding Party: 20 gold wedding dresses inspired by Jessica Simpson - Wedding Party: Gold and Sparkles!
